Paramedic Jeremy Thomas and EMT Misty Handley were on hand at the recent Family Health Day at Monrovia Nursery in Woodlake. Initially expecting perhaps 100 attendees, the event drew over 450 people and extended beyond the projected noon end time. Lots of parents and kids got to interact with the Exeter District Ambulance crew and learn about being a first responder, and most importantly, earn a "Junior Paramedic" sticker!
